Edit images in ASP with ASPPainter ActiveX component.

ASPPainter can be used to create new and edit existing images. It has a large number of painting functions to draw lines, bars, rectangles, polygons, ellipses, arcs, pie charts, to draw text and fill images. You can load and save images from/to files, databases and binary data streams. Since the component works with several images at the same time, you can copy, resize, rotate, merge image parts, and use images as painting brushes. ASPPainter can be also used to get general information about images like image format, dimensions, number of colors, pixels data, etc. Based on Microsoft GDI+ library, the component works fast and stable. Complete source code is available for developers.

New ASP Painter  .NET v2.0    (released Nov 30, 2004)

The new version of the component has been developed for quick migration from ActiveX technology to .NET. The new version does not require the registration of the component, it is enough to put the component into BIN folder. The migration to the new technology slightly changed the component. SaveToDatabase and LoadDatabase methods disappeared. Instead of these methods SaveToVariable method has been added.

What's new in version 1.8   (released Feb 3, 2004)

Added additional samples, fixed memory leak in Copy method, fixed ClearFontRectangle method. Using several new methods it is possible to change one color to another, change all colors with color transformation matrix, change a transparent color, and draw one image above another with alpha channel. The new SetPalette method can save pallete GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF images with improved quality, desired dithering levels, and quantity of colors. Also it's possible now to set color depth for tiff images. The SetTextLineAlign method can be used to align texts vertically.
